Maca root has been used for centuries by native Latin Americans to help reduce stress, increase energy and stamina, balance hormones, improve memory, and can enhance mood. Maca powder is high in protein, fiber-rich, fatty acids and contains minerals, several amino acids which are the building blocks for protein, plant sterols, iron, potassium, copper, magnesium, selenium, phosphorous, calcium, unique alkaloids, and vitamins including vitamins B1, B2, B, C, D, E. It’s also rich in antioxidants.
